I guess we don't have a real group name, but Mike likes to call us "the BEST group ever." Anyway, we are heading out to the trenches to serve our community this weekend. We will be at the coin operated car wash on Wilcox this Saturday from 9-12 (or until we run out of quarters) washing cars of those in our community. Mike picked up $330 in quarters from the bank today. That's a conversation piece right there! We are looking forward to posting pictures and stories of our time together!

Judging from my math, assuming $1.50 for a car wash, that would be about 220 washes. Assuming you also could get one person through every 10 minutes, with 10 stalls, you should be good for the 3 hours overall. (Of course, I don't know the real cost there.) More impressive, it's about 16.5 lbs. of quarters! Don't drop it on your toes!
Also, have you guys thought of ways to share the Gospel with those who will be coming by? Do you have any conversation starters or things to pass out to them to share the news of Christ?
I can't wait to see the pictures! And my truck has been looking dirty here recently, too...
